I have been teaching private oboe lessons for over 30 years throughout the United States. In addition to teaching beginner to advanced oboe, I also teach beginner flute. Currently living in Severn, Maryland, I teach Applied Oboe at Washington College, Severn School and have taught with the PVA program at Broadneck High School. Additionally, I have a private studio of oboe and flute students out of my home in Severn, and I travel to student homes for lessons. Lastly, I was the private oboe instructor at Friends School 1998-2002 and was the oboe instructor with the American Wind Symphony Winds on the MON for the school year of 1995-1996.
Originally from Littleton, Colorado, I hold degrees from the University of Kansas, Northwestern University, and from the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
I have performed with numerous professional orchestras including Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Civic Orchestra, American Wind symphony, Maryland Philharmonic Orchestra and Ohio Light Opera.
